Metalab is either not being given the builds by mozilla.org, or their scripts are not acting as there are supposed to. The latest nightly build that was mirrored is dated on 29-Sep-1999. I bring this up because (if I am not mistaken) Georgia Tech's connection to UNC is "free" [because it is research oriented] versus our connection to mozilla.org over BBN Planet. That, and it reduces the strain on ftp.mozilla.org, also.

dmose, can you take this - not really IS's area to take care of external mirrors.

Metalab seems to have stopped mirroring us. There's not much we can do about it except to report the problem to them. I mailed <ftpkeeper@metalab.unc.edu>

According to an admin from MetaLab, their mirroring is based on ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/ls-lR.gz. Their mirroring is broken because this file lists a bogus file. It also hasn't been updated in the last month. Assigning back to Risto since this is our problem after all. Shaver, when you originally set up people to mirror ftp, what process did you set up?
ls-lR is now updated on ftp.mozilla.org. I didn't see Metalab being synced yet... ls-lR was updated last night, and maybe metalab haven't run mirror.pl yet.

Looks like metalab is now up-to-date again. Closing the ticket.
