User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:109.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/110.0

Steps to reproduce:

Set to System Colors (Dark Mode), OR set text to white and background to black

Actual results:

Many received texts show black text on black background. I can sometimes reveal the text by selecting and highlighting it.
Also, Add-On configuration windows appear black on black.

Expected results:

Text & background colors should appear as set in Settings

This is a NEW issue, I've had dark mode set for many prior versions

This is a screen shot of a TB (102.8.0 32bit) add-on settings screen that appears black on black. White on Black is set in General Appearance Colors.

I have not flagged those that appear black on black and cannot locate one at the moment.
However, here I have attached a screen shot of an add-on settings window that appears black on black.

This is an example email of this happening.
It looks like they are trying to do something clever with

and Thunderbird fails to render it correctly as the font stays drark
