Steps to reproduce:
When I work in the Thunderbird program or the Thunderbird program window is activated and then would like, inside the apple menu, in the menu "Network" and select another environment to activate this. In this way, another network environment is a preset and the change is faster. When I am on the road, I like to switch the network, because I was previously connected to a network, for example, and now want to connect to a wireless network. Unfortunately, however, the network environment does not change.
Actual results:
no change of the network under apple menu with the selected network while program is active.
Expected results:
change of the network under apple menu with the selected network.

That is not a Thunderbird menu, it's all Mac. So there is no code interraction with Thunderbird.
