The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Widget: Win32' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

Is this issue reproducible with a clean profile (safe mode):
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/diagnose-firefox-issues-using-troubleshoot-mode
The issue might be due to extensions.

Unfortunately without more details it's difficult for us to do much here. We'd like to fix this - but we'd need to know more about what specifically is slow. We could get more information using the Firefox Profiler - if you get back to this bug, you can follow the steps at https://profiler.firefox.com/docs/#/./guide-startup-shutdown to get a profile of the slow startup that will show what is taking time.

Sorry I missed this ... now using 114.0b6 (64-bit)
It takes over 15 seconds to open all my tabs ~7 and longer if a pdf file is one of them
Of the 7 tabs 3 are actual emails and the rest Search folders

That sounds very bad. Can you try following the instructions at https://profiler.firefox.com/docs/#/./guide-startup-shutdown to get us some more information about what is taking so long? (more details on how to share it at https://profiler.firefox.com/docs/#/./guide-getting-started?id=share-a-profile ).
It does not take anywhere near that long to open a much larger session on my machine (120+ tabs, <5 seconds), so it's difficult for us to do much without more information.

Hi,
Not sure how to use Firefox Profiler with Thunderbird as Profiler is new to me !?
So I checked the Error console log ... and it looks as if the delay is due to a previous error (see last link)

Hi,

Thunderbird and Firefox share quite a bit of code, but are ultimately packaged and installed separately. Upgrades to Firefox will have no effect on your Thunderbird installation unless something has gone preposterously wrong (and even then, it would almost certainly just break Thunderbird entirely, not slow it down).
Should this bug report specifically be about Thunderbird being slow after an upgrade?

Yeah, at this point I'm confused. comment 0 in this bug references Firefox. Is the slowness you experience in Firefox or Thunderbird? (or both?)

115.0b4 (64-bit)
Now slightly better load time.
But can you explain why the Warnings (seconds lost here)
today's Console Log ... needs expanding and also moving to see URL on far Right
Thanks and REgards

The warnings are unimportant. What is important is happening between those warnings, but not shown in the log.
You have some options:
- https://wiki.mozilla.org/Thunderbird:Testing:Memory_Usage_Problems
- Use https://mozilla.github.io/mozregression/quickstart.html to find the regression range in DAILY builds where performance got worse - the start date for that would be roughly two months prior to comment 0, to one week prior to comment 0
