Swipe gesture to go back & forward does not after 111.0 update

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.15; rv:109.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/111.0
Steps to reproduce:
Updated Firefox to version 111.0
Actual results:
The back and forward 2 finger swipe gestures stopped working. Oddly, when I use Firefox in a second user account (also updated to 111.0) the swipe gestures are working just fine.
Expected results:
A return to the previous page when swiping left, and a jump to the next page when swiping right.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Panning and Zooming' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.
