User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/111.0.0.0 Safari/537.36
Steps to reproduce:
112.0b1 (64-bit)
I open the app and insure unread folders show in the navigation pane. I then get new email.
Actual results:
Unread folders does not contain folders with unread messages. No folders show there at all. When I retrieve new email, "inbox" repeats in unread folders, once for each message that comes in to the inbox.
Expected results:
It should have listed all folders with unread messages.
I noticed this in the previous beta as well and may have missed a couple of beta versions.

Alternative, similar STR from the duplicate:

Clipboard01.jpgUser Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:109.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/112.0
Steps to reproduce:
Setting the folder pane view to "unread folders"Actual results:
TB generates ghost 'duplicates' of folders when I do anything within that folder. If I delete a message TB generates a "ghost" of the folder in the Folder Pane. They are active and you can use them like any other but having 9 inboxes under one account can be confusing.
Let me add here that if the Folder Pane is set to any other view then we don't have this problem. However, if I have the 'top' set to whatever but a subset set to Unread folders, the ghosts who up in that bottom section.
If I re-poll the folder pane by selecting a different view it resets back to where things should be the next time I set the view to Unread but then, touch the folder and I'm back to ghosts (see image attached)

Ouch. Confirming for 112.0b3 (64-bit), Win10, on gmail-IMAP and gmx-IMAP.
Pretty disruptive for users of Unread Folders
view. Geoff, can you have a look?
STR
View > Folders > Unread
to showUnread Folders
view in Folder Pane.- Delete a message from a folder under
Unread Folders
.
Actual result
- The containing folder of the deleted message gets duplicated in the folder pane every time you delete a message. This messes up your folder pane big time, and renders
Unread Folders
view useless-UI (see screenshot attachment 9323687 [details]).
Expected result
- No ghost folders.
