Steps to reproduce:

Occurs immediately after the update to Thunderbird 112 0b1(64bit).

Actual results:

Immediatelly after the update to Thunderbird 112 0b1(64bit) I saw the following differences compared to the úrevoous look:

  • a new huge "spaces toolbar" (the mail toolbar) is displayed newly and its hiding doesn't work (View - Toolbars - unchecking toolbar does nothing)

  • the new quick filter toolbar can be hidden by its unchecking in View - Toolbars, but displays again and again after the new Thunderbird start

  • account folders, which were hidden previously due to be directed to Local folders, are displayed again unneeded.

Expected results:

  • The newly introduced huge toolbar should be able to be hidden

  • the quick filter toolbar, when hidden, shouldn't display again after the new start

  • account folders shouldn't display when they are redirected completely to local folders.

One issue per bug please. I think you mean bug 1819508, bug 1817508, bug 1818166.

Hello, thank you, regarding the bugs 1817508 and 1818166 you are right, two my issues are duplicate. Regarding the third one, 1819508, this is different case - what I am complaining on is that the mail toolbar can't be hidden because the appropriate action View - Toolbars - unchecking toolbar doesn't work. The issue 1819508 describes the problem related to search toolbar, which is displayed (after the upgrade to 112 0b1) on the huge mail toolbar. The search toolbar itself can be easily removed by customization of the mail toolbar, but the mail toolbar can't be hidden newly, and this is the issue I am complaining on, because the huge mail bar takes a lot of space.
