Several times recently, and for the last two updates, Firefox has not restarted when I select "restart for update". The previous run of Nightly needs to be killed, and then I need to request a start of Firefox.
Ubuntu 22.04.2 LTS running XFCE. ASan Nightly.
How should I try to capture information if this happens again? Is there anything I should check before selecting "restart"?

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Toolkit::Application Update' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

Hmm, this sounds more like a shutdown hang than a problem with the update system. I'm not really sure what the best component is for such a problem.

There might be shutdown hang crash reports in about:crashes that could help us determine which component to place this in.

Unfortunately I'm running ASan Nightly so about:crashes isn't supported.

Considering this is an Ubuntu issue, I'm moving it to Core > Widget: GTK, if this is not the right component, please assign a more appropriate one.
Thanks!
