The auto-complete window sometimes appears blank, but it is still possible to
select the "content" even tho its not visible. So its clearly a "painting"
problem with the widget. I'm using the RH8 Xft RPMS with Xft2, so this might be
related to Xft.

This might be a dupe of 83623, but I think its different because the content
there, its just not visible..

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.
Confirm winXP build 2003012508

Steps for exact repro:

1. Load page via addressbar, wait for page to fully load
2. Click test in addressbar once
3. Press "down" key on keyboard
This also happens with MacOS X. I first noticed it in Mozilla 1.2.1, and
thought it might be related to 181293. However, that bug was fixed in 1.3, and
this one still happens.
Note that while the steps described by Jonno (Ariem) appear to be 100%
reproducible, this bug also occurs randomly (somewhere in the vicinity 1 in 50
times) when simply typing a URL.
Confirmed also in win2k, moz 1.3 release. Happens maybe one time in 20 for me.
I can confirm this for Mozilla 1.5b on Linux. Happens about 50% of the time for
me. I'm going to look for dupes...
