Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Mark a mail in Inbox as Junk/Not Junk 2. Move it to another folder Actual Results: The mail in the target folder has junk status unclassified. Expected Results: The mail should stay classified as Junk/Not Junk
I can confirm this bug and I was not able to find an duplicates. I move all my spam to a Spam folder. When I do this it gets marked as "Not Junk". I have to follow my spam around and remark it.

This happens for me on Linux too. The OS and platform should be changed to all, I don't have sufficient rights to do so.
I changed the OS and platform to All and added myself to the bug cc (I see this on Windows 2000 and a coworker sees it on MacOS X).
OS: Windows 2000 → All

This appears to be a duplicate of 180857.
I agree with jmccabe@netscape.com that this report (182421) is related to 180857. My only concern with conflating the two is that this is clearly described and marked as a bug. In contrast, 180857 is couched and marked as an enhancement request. IMHO, when an interface loses state willy-nilly, that's a bug, not a feature that could stand a little sprucing up. ;-)
I'm going to go ahead and mark this a duplicate. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 180857 ***
