When I type in a shortcut like gs or pa, I expect to see the keyword lookup in
my bookmarks to load. However, if I accidently hit /, I get a nice "No such
domain" message from my Privoxy proxy. The problem is that Mozilla will cache
this autocomplete.

I can clear the history and location bar, and get back the "type pa, hit enter,
load" behaviour. But the *second* time I try this, the autocomplete for
http://pa/ (which doesn't exist, and wasn't ever entered) suddenly shows up.

So I'd like autocomplete to not try so hard to make non-URLs into URLs, because
I may just be using shortcuts to my bookmarks.

I think this also relates to bug 121139, which talks about autocomplete's
relation to the history.
Yeah, I've noticed this too.

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040113

Gets really irritating :).
