Details
Steps to reproduce:
On a Linux Mint 21.1 Cinnamon with Kernel 5.15.0-69-generic and TB 102.9:
- Create new event with one word in double-quotes in the title (e.g. The "bad" things)
- Save event.
Actual results:
In the events pane the double quotes are displayed with their escape characters, i.e. The "bad" things.
Expected results:
No escape characters should be visible in the events pane (and anywhere else).
Ok, bugzilla removed the escape characters: That's how the actual result would look like: The \"bad\" things

What kind of calendar is that? Seems to work fine at least with a local calendar.

Have you tried Thunderbird 115 and do you still experience this issue?

No response from reporter, therefore resolving as INCOMPLETE. It is also not reproducible (for me) in Thunderbird 115 with local and CalDAV calendar.
