RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 111559

People

(Reporter: mozilla, Assigned: hewitt)

Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.2) Gecko/20021126
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.2) Gecko/20021126

After following the "Steps to Reproduce", the location bar is broken in the
following ways:
a) Launching any bookmark, e.g. the "Latest Builds" link in the Personal
Toolbar, correctly takes you to the bookmarked URL, but the location bar is not
updated to show this new URL.
b) Typing a new url, e.g. www.yahoo.com into the location bar and pressing
return does not load www.yahoo.com in the main viewing area. (You ARE able to
actually enter URLs in the location bar, it's just that those URLs are not loaded.)

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1) Launch mozilla with the "-ProfileManager" option.
2) Create a new profile in Profile Manager and then start Mozilla with this new
user profile.
3) From the View Menu, go to Show/Hide and hide: Navigation Toolbar, Personal
Toolbar, Status Bar and the Sidebar.
4) Quit Mozilla.
5) Launch Mozilla using the user profile created in step (2).
6) From the View Menu, go to Show/Hide and show: Navigation Toolbar, Personal
Toolbar, Status Bar and the Sidebar.
Can you reproduce this with just hiding/showing Navigation Toolbar?
That is bug 111559. Or do you see this without hiding/showing Navigation Toolbar?
It is reproducible with just hiding/showing Navigation Toolbar. I could have
sworn I tried that before. It's a dupe of 111559 alright.
