User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.15; rv:109.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/112.0

Steps to reproduce:

  • Add Firefox to the dock (Keep in Dock)
  • Remove all icons from the dock in the area that shows recent applications not kept in the dock
  • Open Firefox
  • Close Firefox

This is happening since the upgrade to 112
Machine Apple MacBook Pro 14" 2021, macOS 13.3.1, Firefox 112.0 (64-bit)

Actual results:

  • A Firefox item is added to the area that shows recent applications not kept in the dock

Expected results:

  • No additional icon is added to the dock

Reinstalling Firefox with a fresh download does not resolve the issue
Removing all data does not resolve the issue (CleanMyMacX application reset)

Repeating to open and close Firefox will add more items to the dock
