User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:109.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/112.0
Steps to reproduce:
i am using firefox 112.0.1 (64-bit) snap package on ubuntu 23.04.
in any website if i right click on anything so that it covers ubuntu's Top Panel, the top item in right click menu which is on the Top Panel become unclickable.
the screen shot is attached, as it is shown there, the mouse click on "Undo" button which is the top item in Firefox's right click and it is on the ubuntu's Top Bar (it coveres that) does not work.
Actual results:
the top item in firefox's right click menu can not be clicked if it was on the ubuntu's Top Panel.
the screenshot is attached, as it is shown there, the mouse click on "Undo" button which is the top item in Firefox's right click and it is on the ubuntu's Top Bar (it coveres that) does not work.
it happens for any other Firefox's right click menu type when they covers ubuntu's Top Bar.
Expected results:
the top item in firefox's right click menus should be clickable even if it covers ubuntu's Top Panel.

That's problem of Wayland compositor and how it places the popup. Wayland client (application) doesn't have control over it.

This happens on X11 too. I'm on Debian Testing with ESR release. Latest updates also made everything big, which makes this problem more annoying as the context menu being huge goes to the above.

Might be a GNOME issue?

It was mentioned in the ensuing issue discussion that
The size of the regular toplevel windows is handled by the WM, but things like menus are handled by the client (on X11).
Since Firefox is responsible for placement on X11, it is mentioned Firefox should cope with it.
I now tried on Wayland, and it does not happen on Wayland.
