User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1)
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.2) Gecko/20021126

As far as I found it's not page dependend. I frequently open links in new
windows in tabbed browsing ("hide tab bar when only one window open" is
active) and close them again after a while, so that the tab bar is displayed
and then again not. After a few minutes my navigation toolbar (modern theme)
gets scrambled. First the back button, then the others as well. If I hide the
navigation toolbar and then reactivate it is displayed alright again. But then
after some browsing, the effect reappears. Minimizing the window doesn't help.
Seems to be some refresh problem.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1. activate tabbed browsing
2. activate "hide tab bar when only one window open"
3. open some windows and close them, so that tab bar is displayed and hidden
frequently

Actual Results:
Navigation toolbar display is scrabled (modern theme)

Expected Results:
Navigation toolbar should look normal
Can you attach a screenshot of the toolbar?
Are you using an ATI graphics card?
..oops.. not least: Did you perform a clean installation? (See Help -> Release
notes->Installation Notes)
this is made with new version 1.2.1.
I'm not sure any more if it really is in conjunction with the tabbed browsing.
Today it came up, when I opened the about window.
And no, I haven't made a clean install. I have a version 6.2 of Netscape
Navigator installed.
Please create a new separate new profile for mozilla, and see if the same
happens then. The bug you see may be the result of a mixed profile
(mozila/netscape6)

Also keep the Installation Notes in mind.
(in effect meaning: Before installing: First uninstall old build, delete the
"chrome" and "components" firectories that are left behind in installation dir.)
Rene, is this still happening with a clean profile?
I didn't have any problems since I reinstalled my system and did a cl=
ean
install of mozilla.
You can close the incident, although I would suggest to improve the
installation routine in a way that either two installations can live =
side by
side without interference or the user has a chance to let the old
installation be automatically removed by the installer.
Nevertheless thanks for your effort. I really appreciate that you tak=
e bug
reports serious.
Bye Rene
