Details

Steps to reproduce:

I selected an IRC account in Thunderbird's Account Settings to try to find a setting to change which node of the network of the account i was connecting to.

Actual results:

There is no setting to change the node the account connects to.

Expected results:

There would be a setting to change the node the account connects to.

I cannot just delete the account and create a new one connecting to a different node, as this would eliminate the message history associated with the account.

Summary: No way to change the node an IRC account connects to → No way to change the node (hostame) an IRC account connects to

Related to bug 735379.

Actually, I'm just going to duplicate it into that. There's nothing really specific about IRC for this.
