User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.3a) Gecko/20021202 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.3a) Gecko/20021202 mozilla has been crashing regurlarly at this site. it also crashes sometimes on pages that contain interstitial ads. This has been happening since mid=nov. I have regurlay upgraded to the latest build every couple of days. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to www.cnn.com 2. 3. Actual Results: mozilla crashes Expected Results: should have rendered the page. Talkback id: TB14633850M, TB14048558H. I am running on a dell inspiron 5000e laptop. win2k sp3. 256 mb ram. I will attach a jpeg of the talkback application window which lists all the talkback ids for crashes since nov 15.
Snapshot of talkback window listing all talkback ids since nov 115
i have unchecked the "open requested window", "move or resize existing windows", "raise or lower windows" and "hide the status bar" check boxes. also cache checking is set to "every time i view the page"
Do you still crash whe upgrading to Flash 6 ?

Confirm, WinNT 4.0 SP6, 2002120304, crashes repeatedly on http://www.cnn.com/ confirm other "random" crashes on cnn.com pages with various recent builds

original talkbacks will now have expired. can someone (Moiz?) reproduce this with a recent build of mozilla, and post another talkback ID? thanks.

No longer blocks: 185584
This works for me. Win2K SP3, 2003020208, Flash 6 (is Flash actually in use on this page? I don't see it...)
I'm new to this, sorry if redundant. I just downloaded Mozilla 1.3 B from tucows (shows Build ID: 2003021008 in the title bar). Windows 98 on PII400. The main http://www.cnn.com page is fine for me. However, Mozilla hangs if I try to read anything other than the main page (e.g. I click on a story like http://www.cnn.com/2003/WORLD/meast/03/05/sprj.irq.main/index.html ). No error message, I have to bring up the task manager and "End Task" to get going again.
Dennis, that is bug 192294. Please read the release notes. Resolving WFm since no one (including me) can reproduce this crash. ->WFM
