User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/112.0.0.0 Safari/537.36
Steps to reproduce:
Received an email with uncorrect header "Date: 11/04/2023 15:08". (received the 11 Apr 2023)
Difficult to reproduce.
The language of Thunderbird and PC is French and NOT U.S. language and dates.
Actual results:
The email appeared in the email list as a email received on 4 nov 2023. (So it was on top of emails as that date does not exist yet)
Expected results:
The email should have appeared in the mail list as arriving the 11 apr 2023.
(Also, according to me the header format of the sent email is uncorrect as the month is supposed to be in letter format ; not in digit format)

Found in the mail header :
** Date: 11/04/2023 15:08 **
Thunderbird consider the email date as ** 4 nov 2023* instead of ** 11 apr 2023 **

Sorry, but that date header is utterly invalid. That it's displaying anything at all by luck.
Proper Date headers should look like Date: Fri, 5 May 2023 11:01:16 +0000
and nothing else
