As stated in subject, on a new blank profile, using Account Sync to populate an account, the New Message button is not active until TB is relaunched.

Thanks Aureliano. This must be somewhere between sn-3pane and TB Sync, where the latter misses out on the button-enabling routine.
Disabled Write
functionality is a pretty visible bad start for account syncing, hence P2/S2.

With "Account Sync" you mean the sync in the app menu?
If so this is an exclusive issue for Daily because Account Sync is not enabled on beta or ESR (and it won't in this cycle).
We have tests covering that button state when a new account is created through "regular" flows.
If that's the case the Priority and Severity of this bug is incorrect.

Yep, I can confirm also in Daily 120.0a1 (2023-10-06) (64-bit)

No need for further activity on this bug for now.
- The issue only happens when accounts are created through Firefox Sync.
- This only affects daily, not beta or ESR.
- The sync implementation is temporarily on hold and we will move forward with it early next year.
