read new message doesn't advance to next on delete

I read unread messages sorted by newest to oldest with newest at the top. When reading the oldest unread I either delete or move to a folder, then the next newest message is displayed. I do that again but what displays next is the newest read message.

This doesn't happen when unread messages are sorted oldest to newest with oldest at the top.

This started happening when I updated to Supernova.

Seems to be fixed in TB/Supernova 114b5
