Nothing is displayed before the crash. The URL is usually reached by a redirection from http://www.kwlavoro.kataweb.it, the job section of a big Italian portal. The OS is Red Hat Linux 7.3 with all the updates until 3Dec2002. No Gnome or KDE environment. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Type the URL in the URL bar. 2. Press return Actual Results: The browser crashes imeediatly closing all its windows. Expected Results: Show the page. the java plugin is installed with Sun's JDK. Here is the info from about:plugins: Java(TM) Plug-in 1.3.1_06-b01 File name: libjavaplugin_oji.so Java(TM) Plug-in1.3.1_06
wfm 2002120208/win98 jre 1.4.1. From the release notes: "Problems have been reported with JRE 1.3.1. For best results JRE 1.4.1 is recommended." I guess this is a dupe, but I'm not qualified to guess what it's a dupe of.

does it still happen after upgrading to JRE 1.4.1_01 ? wfm using 20021130 + JRE 1.4.1_01.
