When choosing save as, file explorer does not show in the save as window

Steps to reproduce:
Run firefox, go to any site and download any file(.mp3, .txt, .pdf etc)
Actual results:
When saving the file it shows the navigation bar, but no folders in the window below on where to chose, only way to save is if you know the patch and manually type it in.
Expected results:
File Explorer should populate the save as window.

Was resolved, after further discovery the navigation section was shrunk down to absolutely nothing.
