Steps to reproduce:

When Firefox Nightly is set as the default browser, Gmail crashes when viewing the inbox (ff nightly version 115.0a1, android 11).

Actual results:

Gmail app crashes when open. In the bug report it complains of being unable to bind a service to intent and references fenix.

Expected results:

gmail does not interact with ff. Maybe this is the fault of gmail but it only happens with ff nightly set as the default browser.

Just to clarify, when you say view the inbox do you mean navigating to gmail.com in Firefox or opening the Gmail application on your phone?

Closing as WORKSFORME because the reporter hasn't responded and in my testing, I was not able to reproduce the bug with my Pixel 6a.

I suspect this was a bug in the Gmail app if it no longer appears since we haven't changed any Custom Tabs service code here in a while.
