Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.14; rv:109.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/113.0

Steps to reproduce:

I tried to debug some accessibility issues using another version of my current operating system.

I tried to sync my Firefox font settings, accessibility settings, etc.

Actual results:

Firefox Sync sent a confirmation code to my email, with a 5-minute timer. I would have to reboot, open my email, write down the code, reboot again, and return to sync.

Expected results:

It might be doable with a much longer timer, but not a 5-minute timer.

I imagine other users encounter similar problems.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox::Sync' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

Component: Untriaged → Sync

The code is actually available for 15 minutes even though it says 5. Note also that unfortunately, most accessibility settings (bug 1689763) and fonts (bug 1528880) aren't synced. So I don't think there's much actionable here today.
