It's very difficult, for instance, to mentally switch between Mozilla's use of ctrl-Q to close all instances of all Mozilla windows, and KDE's use which closes the current instance of the current app only (like ctrl-W in Mozilla). Customisable shortcuts would allow users to set the more important keys to whatever they're accustomed to. Maybe one could even make the shortcut keys installable as an XPI, allowing users to install a complete set like "Default shortcuts", "KDE-style", "Gnome-style", "WinXP-style" etc. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:
