I have received notices about changes to GCP that appear to impact the CCADB Tools, such that they will need to be updated.

  • Upgrade to Artifact Registry from Container Registry before May 15, 2024
    Container Registry will be phased out starting May 15, 2024, and replaced by Artifact Registry.

  • We’re adding a new service for new projects with Container Registry dependencies
    starting July 19, 2023, we will activate the service artifactregistry.googleapis.com (Artifact Registry) for projects with service dependencies on Container Registry.

Received another GCP update notice on July 10 regarding:

We need to make sure that all of our tools on GCP are using a supported language version such as:

  • Go 1.19, 1.20
  • Java 11, 17
  • Node.js 18, 19, 20
  • Python 3.8, 3.9, 3.10, 3.11
  • Ruby 3.0, 3.2
  • PHP 8.2
  • .NET 6
