could be because menu and flash are located in different frames.

What version of the flash plugin?
Comment 4•22 years ago

Which _exact_ version? That part matters. If you're not using the latest (beta) one, this bug is invalid, being a problem with the plugin...

So if then this is a flash issue (older versions) then this bug should be closed.

Well. We don't know till someone tests with r61.

Hm, thought this worked, but with Shockwave Flash 6.0 r65 on Windows 2000 SP 3 the menues still appear behind the Flash.

Would like to state that this bug is still here. I've tested with Mozilla 1.2.1, Windows 2000 SP3, Flash 6.0r65. Tested with site at http://www.gtllimited.com/gtllimited/index.asp Flash is on right, menus are on the left. Mousing over menus goes below the Flash animation. It does it the "right" way on IE 5.5, 6.0. Any chances of this getting fixed or is the blame simply on Macromedia?

Updating URL, the old one removed the flash for an animated gif

I'm seeing the same at http://www.gemeentearchief.amsterdam.nl/ (Dutch site). I have Flash player 6.0.79, running on W98SE (Dutch), Mozilla build 2003041508.

I have the same at http://www.mofnet.gov.pl/ (site in polish, javascript menu on the left, flash generates a floating text news banner near the top of the page). Flash player 6.0r65, W98SE (polish), Mozilla build 2003040105 and also "Gecko/20030424 Mozilla Firebird/0.6".
