Steps to reproduce:

Just launching thunderbird, in the case I let "keep messages on the computer".

Actual results:

At launch, all folders and sub-folders reopen ( and I have hundredsss of them ), despite they where closed before.
But this bug does not occur if I unset the flag "keep messages on the computer".

This is a very long-lasting bug that I rediscover each time I reinstall/reconfigure thunderbird on a system with my several IMAP accounts ( at least under ubuntu; bug possibly not for all IMAP servers ):

Expected results:

the state open/close of (sub)folder should be preserved.

Does this also reproduce when using version 115 started in Help > Troubleshoot Mode?
If it does, and you have not already done so, please list complete steps to reproduce.
