Details
Steps to reproduce:
updated from 113 to 114 (through https://launchpad.net/~mozillateam .deb packages)
Actual results:
saved sessions with tab session manager lose containers on tabs upon restore.
Recreating said session also does not help
Expected results:
Restoring a tab session manager session should reopen each tab in the container it was open at the time of saving.
Use case: multiple gmail accounts one per container.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox::Session Restore' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

Hello! I have tried to reproduce the issue with firefox 116.0.2.deb on Ubuntu 22.04, unfortunately I wasn't able to reproduce the issue on my end. Could you please answer the following questions in order to further investigate this isssue.
- Does this issue happen with a new profile? Here is a link on how to create one: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-remove-switch-firefox-profiles
- Do you have any addons installed? If yes could you please list them?
Apologies for the delay, i just tested on 117.0.1 bug still there.
Addon ofc tab session manager + multi account containers (+ cookie auto delete)
I just noticed i forgot one detail:
So if a website is set to "always open in" a given container, it will reopen in that container.
But if a website is not set to always open in any container, but was open in say one specific container (or, in fact, multiple, like you would with GMail), it will reopen in the default container, as tab session manager does not seem able anymore to reopen it in the previous container.
Last working release, like mentioned earlier, 113
if desired, i can shoot a screencast demonstrating the issue. severity for me is quite high because it is preventing me from upgrade, and i noticed there's a 0-day vulnerability related to webp affecting firefox
Ok, i tried to reproduce with a clean profile, and these addons and i seemingly am not able anymore.
Other weird things happen (like whitelisting google in one container automatically whitelists that in all containers), and i'm pretty sure something in firefox changed to break these behaviors, but at this point i really don't know which is the part that should be fixed.
The only problem is that my profile does not seem to upgrade correctly. Even recreating the tab session fails, so i'm sort of stuck. If only there was a way to clone a firefox profile..
Ah one thing i forgot to mention, which is the reason i can't just clone by syncing: Apparently multi account containers do not correctly sync with cookie auto delete. Apparently the order of the containers gets mixed up in synced profiles, and CAD fails with the mapping container <-> set of rules
