Steps to reproduce:

I deleted most of the emails I had in the inbox to see if the problem got solved but there was no changes, it may take up to ten minutes since I start it until the messages get delivered and the same with the spam tab.

Sounds like a network issue. Or gmail throttling you. Tried a different location?
