Details

Introduce a new user interface on webcompat.com for a simplified one-step flow, allowing users to quickly file site issue reports. Those reports should be stored in our new KB in BigQuery.

Notes from our discussion about this topic:

  • introduce a “Submit” button users can click write away (simple report) and “More” button users can select and onboard the current (complex) reporting flow.
  • place a description field under the current URL field
  • introduce a new validation backend for the simple flow
  • The description is likely required for both simple and complex reports.
