Details

(Keywords: regression, Whiteboard: [closeme 2023-10-11][Supernova3p])

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:109.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/114.0

Steps to reproduce:

Using Thunderbird 115 beta, I manually configure 4 email addresses that live on my own servers and I automatically configured my gmail.com address.

Actual results:

The 4 manually configured email addresses unify properly (Folder Modes->Unified Folders), but the automatically configured gmail address does not. The gmail address is divided into two parts: the inbox is located in the unified inbox group, but all the other folders in the gmail.com account are in a separate drop-down at the bottom of the left column, just above the "Local Folders" group.

Expected results:

I expected the gmail.com account to be in the inbox group, with a drop-down icon ">" that causes all the internal folders to appear.

Louis, are you still seeing this problem?

Summary: Unified Folders email addresses properly → Unified Folders not listed properly
  • Install https://addons.thunderbird.net/en-US/thunderbird/addon/unified-folders-debugging/
  • '''If you do not see the "Unified Folders" heading in the folder pane, then click on "..." next to "New messages", click "Folder Modes", enable an additional folder mode to force the "Unified Folders" heading to appear '''
  • in the folder pane, next to the "Unified Folders" heading, click on ⋮ three vertical dots, do not do "Reset Unified Folders"
  • click Debugging Info > click Copy to Clipboard and save the clipboard somewhere
  • click Close.
  • in the Unified Folders heading click on ⋮ three vertical dots, and do "Reset Unified Folders". (DO THIS LAST)

Does that help?

If not please post a screen shot
