RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 1839692

Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.14; rv:109.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/113.0

Steps to reproduce:

Settings gives me multiple options for handling a .pdf file, including (1) Open in Firefox; (2) Always ask; and (3) Save File.

If I select "Open in Firefox," the file will open in my existing window.
If I select "Save File," the file downloads to my desktop.

The problem arises when I select "Always ask."

When then I access a .pdf file, I am asked if I want to open the file or download the file.

I select "Open in Firefox" - so that I can view the .pdf without downloading it.

Actual results:

The file opens (in a new tab!) and simultaneously downloads to my desktop.

Expected results:

When I select "Open in Firefox," the file should open, but NOT download.
