1839879 - Make it easier to access saved logins and passwords

I was used to Lockwise, but recently I had to unconnect it, and now reconnecting it doesn't work, and probably isn't supported anyway because the product is discontinued.
It was easy to use when I had to quickly look up a password to add to an app, when autofill wouldn't work (which happens regularly).
Now with Firefox, it's much more work: I have to click many more times to access the same information:

1. open firefox
2. click the menu button
3. scroll down the menu once
4. scroll down the menu twice (bug 1839878 -- so you might not need to do that to access the settings item)
5. Click on the Settings item
6. Click on the login and passwords item
7. Click on the stored logins items

=> That's now 7 actions instead of just 1 before. This is a huge regression for me.

Would it be possible to make it easier to access? I'm thinking of a widget, or maybe an additional entry point as an icon could be provided that would access this item directly (I don't know Android enough to know if this is possible).

Hi @Julien! Thank you for submitting this bug, I noticed some folks found accessing logins and passwords frustrating too in 1808060. Because the suggestions between these two bugs differ, do you think we could continue the conversation in 1808060 and mark this bug as a duplicate of it?

The exact solution isn't important to me as long as I can access the data easily. Happy to dupe :-)
