Hi All,

    I just downloaded j2re-1_4_1_01-windows-i586.exe from sun.  I noticed 
that in the custom install, it only supports IE and NS6 for the default 
browser to run Java.  If you click on NS6, it says it can not find it; 
it does not substitute Mozilla for NS6.   

  If you already have Java installed, you can duplicate this problem by opening
the "Java Plug-in" icon in the control panel, then clicking on the "Browser"
tab.

   Can you guys show those dudes at Sun how to support Mozilla?

please check if this problem still exists, because we want to get rid of
unconfirmed bugs.
Many bugs in here are strill unconfirmed, because eigher nobody sees the problem
or nobody is able to get to the page because of a required login.

Hi Kai,

    I upgraded Java to j2re-1.4.1.02-windows-i586.exe.  The custom
install still does not recognize Mozilla.

    Do you have someone at Sun you can contact on this?

Sun JRE 1.4.2_x/1.5.0 now supports IE, NS, Mozilla Suite, but not Firefox or
Seamonkey.
