Steps to reproduce:

Open TB, it complains that the IMAP server on Spectrum is misconstrued.

Worked before, Spectrum tells me it is Mozilla/Thunder issue.

Actual results:

When opening TB, message ...

The IMAP Server mobile.charter.net does not support the selected authentication method. Please change the authentication method in Account Setting | Server settings.

Expected results:

Server Setting are as follows:

Server name = mobile.charter.net
Port = 465
Connection Security = SSL/TLS

Group: mail-core-security
Whiteboard: [support]

I'm not so sure this is a bug. It sounds like you need support.
It's possible your server settings are wrong because the information you posted about the outgoing server is not what Spectrum advise and/or you do not have the correct authentication method set up as indicated by the error message.

After reinstalling TB 115 beta, and creating a new profile, it works.

Spectrum/Charter directed me to Mozilla, and I could not find a similar issue in the support forums.
