184223 - Redirect issue : passwords don't seem to be getting carried over : can't log in from this url

This seems to be a redirect issue ( I'm not an expert ).

If I try to login to yahoo's web based email by going to the link:
http://www.mail.yahoo.com

I can't get authenticated.  The error messages claims the authentication
credentials are no good.

The authentication credentials are good.  I know this because
	1. I've used these credentials for a long time
	2. I've tried several times being very careful
	3. I've been able to use the same credentials successfully from
	   other yahoo login points to get to email via another path, such
	   as http://www.my.yahoo.com

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Get a new yahoo account
2.Go to http://www.my.yahoo.com
3.Try to login
Actual Results:  
The authentication credentials never get accepted, even if they are correct

Expected Results:  
The authentication credentials get accepted

I know this is an issue for mozilla and not a problem on Yahoo's part.
I tested the situation in Opera and did not have the same problem.

For some reason this issue did not happen with one of my yahoo accounts.  This
was true for both mozilla & opera.  I have 4 yahoo accounts.  The problem was
100% reproduceable with all of the other accounts using mozilla.

For this reason, when trying to reproduce the bug you might want to sign up
for a completely new yahoo account.

Did you use any non-alphanumeric chars? ( nething other than
abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvcwyz1234567890 ).

Cause it works for me

WORKSFORME linux 2002113005 trunk.  reporter: please try a more recent build. 
reopen this bug if you can reproduce the problem using a recent version of
mozilla like mozilla 1.2.1.  thx!
