Steps to reproduce:
Use the global search function
Actual results:
Everytime I have to manually switch to the list view, which is the only view, that makes sense to me.
Expected results:
I would expect Thunderbird to either save my previous view or give an option, to chose the standard search results view.

No, it's that upper right function, when using global search to switch to list, that I have to do each and every time.
Since it seems I can't attach an image, here is an upload, in German, but I hope you still can locate it. I couldn't find a setting to change Thunderbird to English.
