Steps to reproduce:
This is similar to bug 1505789 with more context
connected to IMAP account Microsoft 365
- Create a new email with autosave on
- wait for autoSave to execute either by waiting r making changes
- you can leave mail in drafts folder to send later or send imediately after saves have executed
Actual results:
- In Thunderbird, there is only one copy of the draft in the drafts folder
- In the mail servers Draft folder, there are multiple copies of the draft based on each auto save. Each duplicate draft has to be deleted manually
Expected results:
- There should be only one copy in the draft folder during editing.
- This copy should be deleted after sending the mail.
- there should be no duplicate draft copies present on the mail server
This is not a Gmail. Hosting server (godaddy)
Repair and compacting does not resolve the issue.
All combinations of "Keep draft messeges in" settings deos not solve the issue.
Does not occur on Gmail accounts
Tested on other mail clients and only happens with Thunderbird.

Yes. I have updateded to 134.0b3 beta and it is still occuring. You can send a draft message and it is not cleaned up on the server side.
It is stil making duplicate drafts of messages when it saves.
