The Mail/News window fails to open automatically on Mozilla startup although the
preference has been checked to do so. This is only happening in the Linux build,
the Windows build behaves correctly.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Set Appearance preference accordingly. Exit Mozilla and restart.
Actual Results:  
Mail/News window doesn't open automatically on Mozilla startup.

Expected Results:  
Window should open automatically if preference is checked.
