Rarely, and seemingly randomly, a page or a sheet will fail to draw.  This
appears to manifest itself in one of three (or 4) ways.  1.  A sheet will
appear, but will only contain solid gray.  If none of the buttons can be
selected via the keyboard, then the browser is effectively hung.  2.  A url is
opened in a new tab; when selecting the tab, the browser window contains only
solid grey.  Hitting "reload" will cause the window to be redrawn as expected. 
3.  A url is opened in the same tab.  Nothing appears to happen -- there is no
change to the window.  However, displayed links are now "dead".  Hitting
"reload" will cause the displayed page to be replaced by the page originally
requested.  I believe there may be a forth, but I'm not certain -- hitting
"back" button, which behaves just as case 3 above, and again is corrected by
hitting reload.

I noticed this first with 1.2b; it persists through version 1.2.1.

I have observed this both on my desktop G4 (MMD version) as well as on my
powerbook.  The former is running the most recent ADC-available OS (currently
10.2.3 6G24) while the powerbook is running the most recent publicly available
OS (currently 10.2.2 6F21).

I have a PDF file (screen capture) showing a grey sheet.  This sheet is telling
me that I'm entering a encrypted page, and is one that can't be dismissed by
simply pressing "Enter".  Clicking within the sheet does nothing.

A friend pointed me to his Ofoto slide show with 201 photos (and 201 clicks of
the "next slide" link on the page).  With mozilla 1.2.1, _several_ times I will
get a failed page load as previously described (the next page fails to load
leaving the window contents unchanged (still showing photo 141 of 201), all
links stop working, resizing the window causes the entire window to be filled
with grey, reload (command-R) causes the next page to be displayed as originally
expected (photo 142 of 201)).  Both Chimera 0.6 and Netscape 7.0.1 will display
the entire slide show without a problem.

The attached pdf is a screen capture of the download progress window.  Note
that while the window remained grey, the title was updated during the download.
