Steps to reproduce:

I upgraded to Thunderbird 115.

Actual results:

The Thread Pane (which lists all the emails) normally resises when you hover over the bottom of the pane so that you can shorten or lengthen the pane.
VIt should 115 only lengthens, it will not shorten.

Expected results:

It should lengthen OR shorten.

Component: Untriaged → Folder and Message Lists

Also in Troubleshoot mode?
Will not shorten to less than how many lines?

The developers increased the minimum size for height of Thread pane which means you cannot reduce it.
The new default set by developers in the code is 200px
Until they fix it, you will need to use another method.
I reduced mine to 150px and it suits me, but others find 100px is a better size.
