User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/114.0.0.0 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce:

Happens when I re-open thunderbird or go from one mail box to another.

Actual results:

Scroll bar on the email list does not stay where you leave it ( usually last message read). Instead it jumps to the middle of the list somewhere.

Expected results:

Stay where you left off.

Still having to scroll down to new messages every time I open the mailbox.

This should be addressed in bug 1850190.
