User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:109.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/115.0
Steps to reproduce:
I hit reply and the nessage window opens.
I hit options "quote message" in reply and nothing happens the option does not show a check mark.
Actual results:
Nothing
Expected results:
The orginal message should have been copies in to the new message window
I am unable to reproduce this using User Agent Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:115.0) Gecko/20100101 Thunderbird/115.3.3
I tried a local folders account, an IMAP account. With the quote option in account setting turned on and off and using the Quote unified toolbar item (which a usually use) and the quote in the menu as well

I'm pretty sure this was broken for a while.

If I highlight the incoming message and then hit reply the incoming message is copied to the reply.

Problem still exist.
If I want to include an incoming e-mail in the reply I have two choices:
- I can highlight portions of the original message and it will be copied to the reply.
- I can change my settings to always include the origina message in the reply.
the old method of having a choice within the reply does not work.

Yes happens every time on all e-mails
Can't attache a screen shot to show you
the drop down option menu shows the choice "Quote message" but when I click on it nothing happens and no check mark appears.

I fix it
has to do with where you want your reply to go relative to the original message
check a different box and now everyhting works like it should
