Steps to Reproduce

  1. Navigate to: web.whatsapp.com
  2. Add site to bookmark. The URL and its icon should appear in the bookmark toolbar.

Expected Behavior:
On Chrome:

I can confirm this. I think it might be using the apple-touch-icon, but I'm not 100% sure the background is the same shade/color as what is shown on the toolbar.

This is a duplicate of bug 1772264.

That said, the site is only providing a 16x16 icon and a rich icon. That's not great, most screens to day will need larger icons than 16x16.
