Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/114.0.0.0 Safari/537.36
Steps to reproduce:
There are two ways:
- Open Windows Settings / Apps / Default apps, and note that Thunderbird is no longer an option for handling Email.
- Remove your default Email App (as noted above), then open a browser and click an email address to be presented with a modal window titled "Open Pick an app?" Click the corresponding button to cause the Windows "How do you want to open this?" dialog to appear, where you will notice that Thunderbird is not listed among the app options that handle the email protocol.
Actual results:
Thunderbird is not listed among the app options that handle the email protocol.
Expected results:
Thunderbird should be registered to handle that email protocol and therefore available in either use case noted above.
