I do not know if this is specific to the German localization of Thunderbird, if it is, please move this to the appropriate category:
The labels to update / synchronize a calendar is different in the context menu vs. in the calendar options pane.
In the context menu, the term "Synchronize" is used while in the options window, the term "Update" is used (to synchronize automatically every 30 / 60 minutes).

These are the strings you are referring to, correct?
Passing this along to the UX team as the English strings are different. Consistency is definitely desirable.
