Steps to reproduce:
- Install fresh Thunderbird portable (v115 or v116)
- Add a new feed or mail that displays new messages (e.g. https://www.heise.de/rss/heise-atom.xml) and get the new all new messages
- Click on one message, so that it's displayed in the preview
- Click on another message
Actual results:
The complete list of messages looses the "new & unread" state, the yellow marked start (see screenshot Unbenannt2.PNG)
Expected results:
Only the 2 messages that were read should loose the "new & unread" state, everything else should remain "new & unread"
