User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:109.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/117.0
Steps to reproduce:
Selected a text;
Clic on the font/background color tool icon;
Choose a color;
Clic OK.
Actual results:
Font still black
Expected results:
The selected text/background should have assumed the selected color for it.
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:102.0) Gecko/20100101 Thunderbird/102.13.0
The color changes are seen in the sent messsage but NOT in the composition window.
And the text background color change NEVER changes the background color.

Does this reproduce in version 115?
Component: Message Compose Window → Composition
Flags: needinfo?(stargate)
Product: Thunderbird → MailNews Core
Same issue in 115 and... the police color change is NOT seen in the sent messages folder.
